I started drawing while I was healing physically from a year of cancer treatment that resulted in a stem cell transplant. I was 37 years old, my daughter was 2.5 years old.

I started painting when I was healing emotionally from the fallout of an eighteen-year-long partnership, and expanded into sculpture and multi-media to express healing from complex ptsd and trauma.
